Reading Keystones
(14 items)In 1923, the Reading Aces changed their named to the Keystones to further connect with the state of Pennsylvania. The Keystones called Reading home from 1923 to 1932. Over those years, they were mostly an independent team, but were affiliated with the Cubs from 1927-30.
The Keystones played their home games at Lauer’s Park, which is now a school and has added a baseball field, built by the R-Phils in recent years. This year, Reading will pay homage to the Keystones to celebrate the 275th Anniversary of the city of Reading.
